Cup Sculptures 2023–2025 documents a project by Thomas Swinkels that was born from a daily ritual. For nearly two years, the artist bought a coffee and a pastry each morning and used the leftover packaging to create a small sculpture on the same day, using minimal tools. The book collects a selection of 138 pieces, matching studio photos of the works with the original receipts. Staying true to the resourceful nature of the project, the book’s dust jacket is silkscreen printed on the back of a poster of one of the cup sculptures.
