Kunsthaus Potsdam was founded in 2000 by the artists Hubertus von der Goltz and Frank Michael Zeidler in the former equestrian military hospital of the Garde-Ulanen barracks in Potsdam. The building, which is now listed, houses an exhibition hall and several artists’ studios. With the arrival of a new curator and a renewed focus on contemporary art, the Kunsthaus asked us to develop a fresh visual identity. Our design was inspired by the extraordinary building and the time in which it was created.
